• Account data. Your email address and display name, when you sign up with email/password, or the identifier and name Apple/Google shares when you sign in with them.
• Goals and progress. The goals, milestones and next actions you create, your focus schedule, work sessions, reflections and weekly reviews.
• Journal content. Journal entries you write (day ratings, moods, notes, gratitude) and evidence photos you choose to upload.
• Preferences. App language, timezone, and your notification and email-digest settings.
• Technical data. Your device's push-notification token (so reminders can reach your iPhone) and minimal delivery logs (that a reminder was sent, when).

We do not show advertising, we do not sell or rent your data, we do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not use your data to track you across other apps or websites.

• Performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Storing and showing your goals, journal and progress is the core service you signed up for.
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). Email digests and push reminders are sent only if you enable them; you can turn each one off at any time in the app.
• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)). Keeping the service secure, preventing abuse, and delivering the notifications you asked for.

We run Goalvolution on trusted infrastructure providers who process data only on our instructions:

• Lovable Cloud (Supabase infrastructure). Hosting, database, authentication, file storage and transactional email delivery (sent from notify.goalvolution.com).
• Apple. Sign in with Apple and Apple Push Notification service (APNs), which delivers reminder notifications to your device.
• Google. Google Sign-In, if you choose to sign in with Google.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active, so your goals, journal and progress stay available. When you delete your account, all of it — goals, journal entries, uploaded photos, preferences and push tokens — is permanently deleted. Some minimal delivery log entries may be retained briefly for security and abuse prevention.

Under the GDPR and Hungarian law you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data deleted (you can do this yourself — see below);
• object to or restrict processing;
• lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH).

You can delete your account and all associated data yourself at any time: open the app, go to Profile → Delete account, and confirm. If you prefer to make a request by email instead, write to the contact address above.

Goalvolution is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy, we will update the version and date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be announced inside the app.
